Prepare the stick
Use the recommended power supply, a suitable HDMI input and enough free storage. Update Fire TV software through its settings. Weak TV USB power can cause interruptions.
Use the confirmed installation route
Ask support for the current compatible player. Avoid APK pages that simply use a similar brand name. Check the publisher and do not install an unrelated app because it promises free channels.
Sign in and check controls
Enter the supplied access details. Test the remote, programme guide, audio and a video on demand. A login screen disappearing is not proof that every feature works.
Check the connection
Position the device where Wi-Fi reaches it reliably or use a supported Ethernet adapter. If only one stream fails, compare another before changing device-wide settings.
